The material is developed in-house by VASU Corporation (a Hong Kong capital enterprise), which is a material manufacturer, and it is a bio-based (corn starch) and biodegradable resin material for which they hold a patent. They have established a production facility with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons and a material development system in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, China, and have a track record of 10 years since production began. Additionally, the plants used as raw materials are non-GMO, have ultra-high molecular weight and low MFR, and do not contain harmful additives, making them safe for applications that come into direct contact with food.
